Financial Literacy for Fisherfolks at Manori - 5-12-15

Mobilizing the fisherfolk men for a Financial Literacy Program was a challenge, nevertheless an active group of 20 Fishermen gathered together in the Parish Hall for a complete session that covered all the three modules on the 5th December, 2015.

The resource person, Ms. Rasika Bhandari from CSA led the group to understand the need for savings.

Through an interactive session on calculating their spendings for a month they realized the importance of saving and budgeting for the month. They were also led to understand how they can develop a financial plan for the future.

It was a great learning experience for the Manori CCO staff and also for the men who humbly learnt this important aspect of their life that needed to be strengthened.
