Session for
Domestic workers on Flowers arrangements at Dongri:
We believe in providing alternate livelihood as options to the marginalized women and empower them to be financially independent
On 2nd March 2017, CSA organized a training session on flower making for the domestic workers at Dongri. Mrs Angelina Pereira was the resource person. There were 15 participants who attended the training.
The women learnt to make different types of artificial flowers, which could be a side business enabling the women to increase their income generation capacity.
The participants were determined to use these skills and start by selling the flowers at the houses they are currently working in. It will be their first step towards earning an income through an alternative option of livelihood
