Topic:- Women Atrocities every day’s news but not
in my village?

Report :- The program began with
prayer dance performed by the women. The dignitaries of the evening i.e. the chief
guest, speakers, president, CSA co-ordinator-Mr. Dayanand & Mrs. Sheetal,
Miss. Vijaya the sister of the local Corporator was welcomed introduced and
honored with a bouquet of flowers. 
The introduction of Women’s day was given by
Mrs. Asha Ferreira the Core committee member. Then a role play was performed on
the topic and depicted in it the various ways in which women are harassed today.
This was followed by a song and a dance.
The resource person spoke on how
women suffer through in the family and society and also at the work place. He encourage the women saying “one should not
keep quite but be able to defend oneself through self- defense techniques. Also
one must help each other & have unity to prevent others from atrocities. 
The president also gave wishes on the occasion of women’s day. The program
ended with snacks, distribution of gifts and a note of thanks.
