Follow up of Exposure and Farmer's Meeting at Tarodi, Dongri - 10-5-16

On the 10-5-2016 Prerna Seva Kendra,Dongri organized a follow up meeting for Farmers at Tarodi village in Dongri. There were a total of 8 farmers present. 

The meeting was led by Mr. Dayanand Patil, Ms Manisha Kharjia and Ms Rasika Bhandari. In the  meeting the following points were discussed. 

1) Evaluation of farmers exposure visit at Krishi   Vidhyan Kendra,Kosbad- helped them to gain practical knowledge's related to farming, making process of natural compost etc. 

2) 8 people agreed upon the importance of compost and all of them said that they will undertake to prepare Compost as per the methodology of 'Kadda' by building a pit of 5 x 8 area. 

3) Mrs. Anjela Nunes & Mr. Edwin Nunes have decided to start a 'Dairy business' which will help them to get cow dung & they will undertake a joint farming business. 

4) Formation of a Farmer's group. It was the first meeting where membership rules and regulation were clarified. 

The next follow up meeting going to be held on 24th May 2016, at 7.30 pm, Venue- Tarodi.
