On the 18th May, Snehajyot Samaj Kendra, Uttan CCO organized an Exposure Visit for 45 Bal Sansad Children and 22 SHG Women to the Post Office at Bhayandar. 
The children and women understood the various services offered by the Post Office. The children for the first time had an insider's view on the process engaged in by the Postmen on sorting and taking on the various tasks of processing letters. 
The women asked various questions on the various savings schemes offered by the Post Office and what was the process involved. Their queries were answered by the Post Master. This government office is slowly in the process of reinventing its services in order to be relevant. The general public still needs to understand its secure saving schemes being offered like the National Saving Schemes and others too.
