A PRA (Participatory Rapid Appraisal) Training for 24 Core Committee Members at Gorai CCO was held on the 11th May, as a preparation in order to prepare for the third year of the Project. 
After a brief introduction of the Resource Person - Mr. Dayanand Patil, the participants were introduced to the topic of PRA through various exercises. He focused on arriving at the issues of the people in the community through the use of various PRA tools. These tools included - Community Mapping, Seasonality and Time line exercises.
The participants discussed the various issues and using the various tools came up with their group reports, however they could not take this discussion further as the women had to leave because the fishing boats had arrived and they had to leave. The training was held from 10.00am to 1.00pm
